Kathmandu- Nagarkot – Pokhara – Chitwan Tour

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu at Tribhuwan International Airport, transfer to the Hotel.

Day 02: KATHMANDU - SWOYAMBHUNATH - PATAN
Kathmandu:

One of the historical sites in the valley and the Malla Kingdom with visits to the Temple of Kasthamandap, the Kumari House and Durbar Square in front of the Old Palace Complex.
Swoyambhunath:

 The oldest Stupa in the Valley dedicated to Adi Buddha. Both are UNESCO International Heritage Sites  (A. M.)
 PATAN: 

The Second Old Malla Kingdom in the valley, after Kathmandu, officially known as Lalitpur. Visits to Mahaboudha, Hiranyabarna Mahabihara and the Palace Square, listed as an International Heritage Site             (P.M.)

Day 03: PASHUPATINATH – BOUDHNATH - BHAKTAPUR
PASHUPATINATH – BOUDHNATH - BHAKTAPUR
Pashupatinath: The holiest site of the Hindus in Nepal, the oldest temple of Lord Shiva believed to have been established in the 4th century B.C. Visit to the Cremation Grounds on the Western Ghat of the holy river, Bagmati. 

Boudhnath:

Thebiggest Stupa in Nepal shown in the film LITTLE BUDDHA, built in the centre of a Mandala with Tantrik forms of Buddha in the niches at the base. It is believed to have been constructed by woman, who managed to acquire the land for the stupa by skillfully cutting the skin of an animal. It is one of the important places of pilgrimage to the Buddhists from Tibet and Ladakh. Both are UNESCO International Heritage Sites. (A.M)

Bhaktapur:

One of the oldest Malla Kingdoms in the valley, 12 km east of Kathmandu. Visits to Dattatraya Complex dating back to 15th century which is the main religious complex with the famous Peacock Window and the temple guarded by giants. Walk to Nyatapola, the five roofed – Temple constructed by the King Bhupatindra Malla in the 17th Century and the Palace complex. Visit to the interior of the famous 55 –Window Palace. (P.M.)

Day 04: Early in the morning Sunrise after Breakfast Drive to Pokhara, via raft in Trisuli River
Early in the morning set for sunrise. After breakfast drive to pokhara with scenic view of green forest, beautiful landscape and flora and fauna.Drive stop in raft start point and enjoy white water rafting in Trisuli River with lunch in the bank of river. After complete the rafting, drive to pokhara and Overnight in hotel.
Pokhara; (200km west of Kathmandu) A famous City for each Lake Fewa within the backdrops of the famous Annapurna & Fishtail Mountain.

Day 05: Half Day Pokhara Sightseeing with one hour Boat ride in Fewa Lake
Varahi Temple:
The double roofed Temple dedicated to Vishanu in his boar incarnation. It’s a pleasant point to see the wideness of the Lake as well as observe the comings and goings of worshippers.
Binda Basini Temple;   
The shikhara – style Temple situated small hill and dedicate to Goddess Durga . The temple is very famous for the wedding ceremony. 
Mahendrapul: From the bridge enjoy good views of Seti River, flows right through Pokhara valley & in places it runs completely underground.
Devi Falls:
Also known as Patale Chango, a tourist named David who suddenly falls down due the outflow from Fewa Lake and disappeared down the hole, taking his girlfriend with him.

Day 06: Early morning drive to Sarankot for Sunrise and the views of Annapurna drive back to the Hotel after breakfast rest day free. 

Day 07: Drive Pokhara - Chitwan about 04 hours
Chitwan; 180km south of Pokhara, visit to the National Park famous for Rhinoas, antelopes, & Monkeys. It lies in the plains of the famous Terai in Nepal (200meters above the Sea Label) where most of the rice planting is done. Overnight - Full Board
Upon arrival at the Lodge welcome & briefing by the naturalist, After Lunch, either canoe or elephant ride and overnight on full board

Day 08: Chitwan National Park:
Whole day Jungle activities with Jungle walk, elephant ride, canoe ride, village visit etc. it  is the most famous national park in Nepal. Which offers 450 species of birds including four species of deer, leopard, sloth bear, wild boar & many other wildlife.

Day 09: Drive OR Fly in to Kathmandu 6/7 hours / 35 minutes

Day 10: Day 05; Excursion Daxinlaki - Chobar - Kritipur
Dakshinkali:
The famous temple of the Kali of the South, built by the King Pratap Malla of Kathmandu in the 18th Century, famous for animal sacrifice, 18 km south of Kathmandu.
Chobar: The Legendary Gorge from which the waters of the Kathmandu Lake flew out when the rocks were struck by Manjushree in the 07th Century, who came from the North.
Kritipur: The historical city in the hills for which Prithivinarayan Shah, who unified Nepal in the17th Century, had to fight two battles to incorporate it into the big Kingdom of Nepal. Visits to the Temple of BagBhairab and the Stupa.

Day 11: Visit Bungmati- Kokhana
Bungmati: 10km South of Patan, a typical Newari village founded in the 16th Century and famous for mustard oil in the past – typical old houses made with wood, brick & and clay.
Khokana:, A typical Pasant Newari village founded in the 14th Century and famous for mustard oil in the past – typical old houses made with wood, brick & and clay

Day 12: Visit Gokarna - Sankhu
Gokarna; A Protected forest area to the North east of Kathmandu 12km
Sankhu: An old township by the side of River Salinadi, where the annual ceremony for the dead   is performed in Nepal. It was developed in the Middle-Ages because of commerce with Tibet in Caravans.  Temple of Bajra Yogini on the top of a small hill, equivalent of Tara in Buddhism

Day 13: Free day in Kathmandu for Shopping, evening dinner in typical Nepali Restaurant with Nepali folk dances

Day 14: After Breakfast –Departure Transfer to the Airport
